Copenhagen was back in the day a melting pot of culture and entertainment. And still is. If you wanted to experience international jazz celebrities or just the vibrant and sometimes racy nightlife, Copenhagen had it all. From the famous Tattoo Jack in Nyhavn to Tivoli Gardens and Sluk Efter, once the hub for jam sessions for international musicians.
Yeah, it was a totally different scenario if you wanted entertainment. But still it was not that many years ago.
We have collected some of the pioneers that gave Copenhagen a taste of the world outside with almost no regulations. We honor them by letting their storys live on and not be forgotten.
